Generalized Model of a Discrete Communication Channel in Conditions of Burst Errors
Abstract
A generalized model of radio communication channel in conditions of burst errors which consists of four states and allows to generalize the well-known Elliot-Guilbert model has been proposed. The model takes into account transition states between «good» and «bad» states of a discrete channel of information transmission. Comparative analysis of probability characteristics of the given order for communication channels with bursts of errors using different models has been carried out.
