Measuring the elastic displacements amplitudes of the quartz resonator

Abstract
Two structures of the optical interferometers used for measuring space distributions of elastic displacement of the quartz resonator are analyzed and researched experimentally. The acousto-optic cell of interferometer is used for a frequency shift of the optical signal. This increases stability and reliability of the measurement processes and allows to evaluate the absolute values of the acoustic displacement amplitudes of the resonator. An analysis of the interferometer sensitivity was performed by evaluation of the noise level and optimal choice of the device parameters.
